All winemakers know that when our plants are healthy and getting
the right amount of water, growing seasons are better all round.

In 2022, we brought in AthenaIR vine monitoring. It’s a cutting-edge
infrared technology which is always capturing things like plant and
environment temps, humidity, and solar radiation.

With 15 sensors over five sites, it keeps us across the health of the
plants themselves - but also tells us through the data when vines
need water. And by knowing when to water, we save water.

We’re working on rolling out more for the 23/24 growing season,
across our new varieties and different farms.
